Is that Scarlett Johansson?
I am super relieved that final exams are officially done.
And not to mention, I am now a second-semester senior. Crazy, right? The next couple of months will be a blurry sphere of scholarship scavenging, graduation practices, dorm room prepping and serene relaxation (or attempts to un-wind, anyway. Any time I start to feel blissfully at peace, I immediately feel like I somehow have missed a homework assignment). Even though my grades this semester were not as glamorously attractive as I had dreamt them to be (sigh), I am trying to ignore those searing letters and instead attempting to focus on the positives of life. . . for example, fashion blogging, the hyptonizing spring 2013 couture shows, and retail therapy. Maybe a good action flick and a cheeseburger too.
But let us not forget: Since those depressingly drab exams have commenced, I can now lavish more of my time blogging instead of cramming for tests and mentally loathing my tendency to procrastinate (note to self: must fix). I am aiming to make my blog more personal yet interactive for all of my readers, which I admit, will be an arduous challenge. Whenever I open up a fresh post, the infinite space of blankness instantly programs me to write all formally, where my words are devoid of any vitality and there is not enough of my personality reflecting through these virtual letters. I plan to conquer this habit over the next couple of posts, so we shall see if my task will be achieved.
Today's inspirational post revolves around the upcoming spring season. You know, the time when pastels dominate the wardrobes and nails, when overdosing on floral print is welcome, and when we can finally rest our cozy, knitted coats to hibernation. While I do love dressing for the winter season (or the Southern California equivalent of "winter"), I am excited to start shopping for bright, candy-sweet pieces and donning my spring scarves. With spring, also comes clearer skies and blooming fauna, which then translates to: Backdrops for outfit posts! Sadly, I am not like the inspiring, modelsque Aimee of Song of Style or Shea Marie from Peace Love Shea when it comes to the realm of outfit posts. I feel so unexperienced with photographing and modelling outfits, but I do aspire to post more of my lookbook posts because I just love how it can instantly make your blog unique, especially since you will definitely be witnessing outfit posts from a 5'1 blogger, so hooray!
I already have been cococting up a few exciting blog post ideas which I hope to get up and published very soon! I cannot wait to share them with you all! (I feel like I always say this at the end of my posts, but hey, it gives me more of an incentive to blog!)

Great inspiration, just what I was needing. I know what you mean when you say that as you open a new post that personal voice gets dimmed.
Locking forward to your posts :)
